The wine cellar " Panaskerteli" is located in Meskheti, In the village of Saro in Aspindza district, on the lower plateau of Javakheti at an altitude of 1480 meters above the canyon, next to the megalithic castles built in the 15th and 14th centuries AD, and the archangel shrine built in the 8th and 9th centuries BC. Visitors to the wine cellar of Panaskerteli can taste the rarest grape varieties of Meskhetian grape varieties, natural wine made from white and red grapes of different kinds. Fanaskerteli vineyards are cultivated in Saro-Nijgori. Fanaskerteli vineyards have recovered the most endangered Meskhetian grapes:Tskenisdzudzu tetri,Tskenisdzudzu shavi,Tavkaloebis tetri,Kharistvala tetri,Kharistvala shavi,kapnis tsiteli,Klertmagara,Meskhuri mtsvane,Meskhuri saintereso,Meskhuri rkatsiteli,Meskhuri tetri,Meskhuri tsvrilmarcvala,Bejhano,Klarjuli,Meskhuri titha tetri,Meskhuri chitiskvertskha,Meskhuri chitis thvala tetri,Javakhetura,Samariobo tetri,Samariobo tsiteli,Thamaris tetri,Thamaris tsiteli,Roketula,Brola,Kldis tetri,Tsundis tetri,Khikhvi. The Trialeti and Erusheti ridge, as well as the Mtkvari valley, emerge from the Panaskerteli cellar. The history of the village of Saro dates back to 6000 years.
